Blossom

I'm ready for spring to officially arrive here and I made this pendant as encouragement to Mother Nature to let the sun shine and the blossoms grow.

The organic and rustic Blossom is hand cut from reclaimed sterling silver sheet, shaped and formed into a blossom shape and a copper nugget is added to the center.

More details can be found in the shop, A Second Time.

Mounds

Hand made from reclaimed sterling silver and copper, the Mounds series is now available in A Second Time's shop. Copper sheet is cut, hammered lightly, domed and then set in handmade reclaimed sterling silver bezel settings. The copper used in these pieces has not been waxed or laquered and will develop a gorgeous patina over time (like a penny). Alternately you can choose to clean the piece and keep it looking like it does today. This series is modern and sleek, easy to wear and sure to become some of your favorite pieces. More about the earrings, pendant and ring can be found by visiting the shop. Enjoy!

Water Lily Pendant

I just made and listed this Water Lily pendant in the shop. The pendant is made from reclaimed sterling silver and a vintage cast water lily. The water lily was once part of a pair of earrings, its mate is missing. The piece was too beautiful to toss in the scrap bin so I rescued it and gave it new life as this pendant. It is securely soldered to the handmade disc and will now be able to be enjoyed for many more years. You can read more about it by clicking here.
